Pondy Marina Beach in Pondicherry is the new tourist attraction near the new lighthouse. It was developed under the theme-based beaches programs by the Pondicherry government, and “Pondy Marina” beach is based on a food-based theme.
Pondy Marina Beach is located at Dubrayanpet, 1.5km from the White town, Pondicherry. Unlike the rock beach, where the tourists can hardly venture into the seashores, here, as the name suggests, there is a reasonable length of sandy beach. Pondy Marina offers you a wide variety of food options, Mangrove forest boating, sandy beaches, river mouth sighting, Mangrove forest boating, etc.

Since it was developed based on a food theme by the Pondicherry government, Pondy Marina has a lot of food stalls. Pondy Marina has 34 food courts allocated, most of which are in operation now. Shops like Richie Rich and GMT, Turkish Icecream offer different flavours of Ice creams, Le Petit Four and Pizza Marina offer you mouth-watering pastries and pizzas. While shops like Malabar Foods offer you Kerala-style Biryani, Shrimply offers seafood. Pondy Marinaa has more than twenty food stalls on its campus. One can enjoy gazing at the sea while eating and playing on the shores.
One of the advantages of Pondy Marina is that it offers you different varieties of food at a reasonable price, and at the same time, you will enjoy the food under the moonlight with the soothing breeze from the sea.
Inside the Pondy Marina facility, there are activities for kids to play. The most important thing is that the restrooms are available at both ends. Horse riding on the sandy beaches just opposite Pondy Marina is another attraction.

They offer horse and camel riding on sandy beaches and ATV rides for adventure seekers. They have an adventure activity zone behind the food court, where many rides are available for kids and adults alike. They have a big open lawn where they can hold parties and conferences. Having a party next to the beach with all the facilities will be fun.
