Paramotoring differs from Paragliding, where Paragliding requires the wind to take off, and usually pilot will launch from the side of a hill. Paramotoring or Powered Paragliding is an adventure sport where a motor mounted on the back of the Pilot gives enough thrust to paraglide through the skies. The propeller will be inside a cage and have an integrated seat for the Pilot and passenger. All these were mounted on the trike with three wheels. During takeoff, the Pilot runs on the airstrip and then powers the trike via throttle, which gives the paramotor lift.
Before starting the takeoff, you must sign the indemnity bond form as a mandatory requirement. Then the Pilot will give instructions about do’s and don’ts during flying. Anyone above five years of age can do paramotoring. You are good to go if you can fit and sit in the passenger harness. The Pilot and the passengers should wear helmets before the flight.
Once airborne, pilots use the toggles and throttle to steer the trike left or right during the flight. The Pilot uses his experience to move left or right using those tools.
