Pondy Ocean Park (POP) – Best amusement park in Pondicherry
Pondy Ocean Park (POP) near Paradise Beach in Pondicherry is claimed to be India’s first adventure park with land and water activities at the same venue. Located at the south end of the Chunnmabar River, the backwaters where the water sports activities will occur, not in the sea.
Pondy Ocean Park (POP) is just a kilometre from the Chunnambar Boat House; you can cover both Paradise Beach at Chunnambar Boat House, Sandunes beach, and Poncy Ocean Park on the same day. From Pondicherry White town it will come around 8 km to reach here. Since it is located near Pondicherry-Cuddalore main road, it is easy to get here with public transport or with private vehicles.

Entrance fee/Ticket Price:
Ocean Park offers you packages that include entry fees. You need to choose a minimum of two rides per person, consisting of the entry fees. Activity prices start from Rs.100 with a maximum price of Rs.1200 for water sports rides.

Pondy Ocean Park (POP) offers thirty-four activities or rides for you to choose from, of that sixteen are water sports activities. Land adventure activities you can enjoy are the Football Dart Board, Horse riding, Paintball Shooting, Bull Ride, Zipline, Bungee Trampoline, Archery, and many more. Water Sports activities that the Pondy Ocean Park offers in the backwaters are Jet Ski, Fly Fish, Dolphin Ride, Speed Boating, Kayaking, Sea monster, etc.

This park doesn’t disappoint the kids; you can take your kids to Bouncing Castle, Pedal Boating, Kids Jeep, and other activities, where they will have a memorable experience. Plenty of activities to choose from for both the adults and the kids; that’s why it is considered one of the best amusement parks in Pondicherry.
Note: Kids Age limit is 4 to 10 years.

The park has a restaurant that offers you delicious South Indian and continental dishes if you are hungry. El Rio Cafe and Restaurant offers you dishes like Mushroom Crostini, tortilla chicken, Pesto Cottage cheesesteak to chappathi, Phulka. They offer a wide variety of dishes to choose from.
