Pondicherry Beach House is located on the picturesque ruby beach in Veerampatinam, around 9 km from the white town. The Government of Pondicherry’s tourism department developed this beautiful Ruby Beach in a public-private partnership.
Location of Pondicherry Beach House:
Ruby beach is one of the peaceful locations away from the chaotic city crowd. You can have your proper beach time and have a place to unwind with soothing waves. Pondicherry Beach house is just a few meters away from the sea; if you open the door of your huts, you can have a beautiful view of sunrise, stars and a moon set right above the sea. Experience the rustic nature of these wooden huts nestled in the casuarina groves.
Inclusions:
It is a newly constructed wooden hut with all the basic facilities you can expect. Each beach hut can accommodate two people. Houses will have two single beds. Two glass water bottles and tumblers for your stay at the property. Two bath towels and hand towels (to be returned). Two handmade soaps with Two shampoo conditioners (can be taken with you). One Barbeque session will be provided to the group as a complimentary one during your stay at the Pondicherry Beach House.
Activities and things to do during the stay:
We have a list of curated activities from Kayaking, Boating in Mangroves, Visits to Arikamedu etc., to engage while your stay here in our beach huts.
All in-house guests will receive a 15% discount for the activities they take.
Points to note before you book Pondicherry Beach House:
- It is an eco stay – no ac, only fans.
- It is a non-smoking place as it is a wooden hut and nearby areas are prone to fire; they have an exclusive smoking zone outside of the stay area. Strictly not allowed inside the houses and stay zone.
- They do not allow outside food – you are welcome to dine at their restaurant at Ruby Beach.
- You are welcome to utilize their bar at a discounted price – personal drinks are allowed only after bar closing.
- They have kept dustbins; please dispose of your waste responsibly and help to maintain clean beaches.
- They are connected to the central government electricity grid – we do not have a power backup.
- There is no room cleaning; try to keep the room tidy – we have a sandy area all around.
- All room provisions such as bed linens and towels must be duly returned; you can take the handmade soap and shampoo bottles with you.
- They can help you with the laundry at an extra cost.
- They have shared outdoor bathrooms and toilets only for in-house guests – we have separate for gents and ladies. Please help to leave it the way you want it to be used.
- No smoking while using toilets and bathrooms during your stay at Pondicherry Beach House.
Parking:
They have a vast parking area at Ruby Beach. So parking will not be a problem.
Pets:
They have substantial running spaces for pets – free of charge – however, it’s your duty to take care of your pet with feeding, not harming others; other strays etc., hassle-free well-trained pets are ok – they are not permitted inside the rooms.

Booking policy:
- 50% upfront payment for confirmation of stay
- 50% during the check-in
Cancellation Policy:
- 10% of the booking fee will be charged, if you cancel five days before check-in
- 50% of the stay fee will be charged, if you cancel two days before check-in
- 100% of the stay fee will be charged, if you cancel less than 24 hours before check-in
