The Alampara Resort ECR, Marakkanam – Booking, Activities etc
The Alampara resort is located in the Kottaikadu Village on East Coast Road (ECR) near Marakkanam, around 43 km from White Town, Pondicherry. The Alampara resort tents were dotted along the beautiful backwaters of Buckingham canal.
Luxurious Tents:

The Alampara Resort has two types of tents: Deluxe and Superior.
Deluxe Tent
The Deluxe tent has French colonial doors leading to the porch with a fantastic lake view. Deluxe tents are five hundred and sixty square feet in size and have 1 King size bed. It has in-house air conditioners and with attached bathroom with a tub.
Superior Tent
Superior tents are slightly more spacious than deluxe tents, with an area of six hundred and sixty square feet. Like Deluxe tents, these tents also has lake view with a private garden. Superior tents have an open shower and bath in addition to the King size bed.

Their kitchen serves the best seafood dishes like Kalamakai (the local mussels), Eral Thokku, Rasa Meen Varuval etc. They have curated experiences like Fishing with locals and meeting the mussel pickers of marakanam.
